Google Caffeine Comparison Tool
[ Edit: Please note: Now that Google Caffeine is becoming the official new Google algorithm, Google has taken down the public test site for Caffeine. As a result, the comparison tool no longer works. We’re leaving this article up for historical purposes though.]
Following on from our last article, in which we discussed the new Google Caffeine algorithm that’s in development, here’s a handy little tool that lets you compare the results of the existing Google search infrastructure with results using the proposed new Google “caffeine” algorithm.
Compare Google Search Index Results
This simple tool runs your search on both the standard Google search index, and the new Caffeine index simultaneously. Results are displayed side by side in scrollable frames, allowing you to compare caffeine results with standard results.
The screenshot below shows an example of how your results comparison will be displayed.
