• Our Portfolio

The focus at Net Age design is on building websites that are increasingly user-friendly, interactive, aesthetically pleasing and, above all, suited to the South African web environment.

Our porfolio is divided into two sections. The first section, Standards Compliant Websites consists of websites that conform to current web standards. The second section Legacy Websites consists of older sites that use coding and practices now considered obsolete, but were sophisticated according to the standards and practices of their time.

    Standards Compliant Websites

Standards compliant websites are more accessible by search engines, directories and visitors with disabilities. They enable visitors to customise how they view them, adjusting text sizes or disabling images to increase loading speed, among other things.

  • Legacy Websites

Legacy sites dont have the level of accessibility compliant sites do. They were compliant with the standards and practices of the time. Many of the websites are not Firefox compatible as they were made prior to its launch. 'Legacy code' is a term used by designers and developers to describe all code that isn't in line with the current standards and practices advocated by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
