Google My Business has been a valuable resource for some time, allowing you to put information and images about your business into Google, which can display in Google maps, or in the Google Local Results pack.
Back in 2016 though, Google removed one of the features from “My Business,” namely the ability to edit your business description.
Now, it seems to have made a return, and according to the SE Roundtable, it’s been included in the help documentation again, suggesting that it’s return is official.
It’s apparently not available in all businesses yet though, and it’s still a bit unclear as to whether this is due to a gradual roll-out (which is common with Google features), or if it’s possible that the ability will only be available to certain business types.
Guess we’ll find out.
